MARKETING MANAGER
The Marketing Manager directs and leads the strategic promotion of Sabin that drives business growth, focusing on the planning and execution of marketing initiatives. This role formulates and tracks engagement opportunities, and is able to interact in a compelling way with Sabin’s audience. The Marketing Manager leads external content creation, working closely with Product Development and Sales to ensure accurate product articulation, cohesive story building, and correct application of brand standards. The Marketing Manager has a keen understanding of the built environment and its players, and translates quantitative and qualitative research into an imaginative marketing strategy that captures the attention of Sabin’s audience, largely in the world of architecture and design. This individual is well researched and up to date on media relevancy, and should feel comfortable applying an unconventional approach across all marketing touchpoints; Sabin is uniquely positioned as the first acoustic lighting company, and is setting new standards for the industry that should be reflected in all external communication and promotion to distinctly stand out.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops and executes marketing strategies that align with Sabin’s goals and values. Develops tasks and timelines for external facing channels based on quantitative and qualitative research. Leads content creation for Sabin marketing materials such as a newsletter, blog posts, brochures and flyers — positioning product and developing copy grounded in imaginative strategy. Manage the budget for marketing initiatives and ensure that expenditures are aligned with financial goals. Oversees social media and website; develops content and manages engagement. Responsible for reporting analytics and ensuring strong SEO. Briefs Graphic Design in a timely manner to create visual assets for Sabin websites, social media, events and promotional materials. Stays up-to-date with marketing trends and technologies in the architectural and design markets, and adapt marketing strategies as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree. Relevant degree or comparable experience in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field. Experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience managing creative projects from conception to completion. Understanding of the architectural and design fields. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent writing and copy-editing skills. Familiarity with marketing analytics and the ability to use data to inform marketing strategies. Collaborative team player with an appreciation for product design. A friend of our environment, conscious of Sabin’s position to have a better impact on our planet.
A plus: experience working in young companies, multimedia production, and understanding of the lighting industry.
This is a 100% on-site role.
