SERVPRO of Northwest Charlotte is Hiring a Human Resource Manager Near Charlotte, NC

 The Role:
The Human Resource Manager will assist the Business Manager running daily functions of the HR department including recruiting, interviewing, and hiring. You will support the administration of HR systems, time & attendance, pay records, benefits, and PTO. You will embody our core values and play an important role in sustaining our productive working culture.
The Details:
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified job applicants.
  • Responsible for new hire documentation, initial orientation, and personnel record maintenance.
  • Set up new employees in payroll and time & attendance systems.
  • Assist with follow-through on employee on-boarding including training.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer HR programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, PTO, and disciplinary matters.
  • Perform routine tasks related to performance management, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers, referring complex matters to the Business Manager or Owner.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with policy review, editing, and maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 What You Must Have:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Associates Degree or higher preferred
  • SHRM certification preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years in general HR Administration or Management
 Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
  • Must be able to access and navigate office and warehouse premises.
