SERVPRO of Northwest Charlotte is Hiring a Human Resource Manager Near Charlotte, NC
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified job applicants.
- Responsible for new hire documentation, initial orientation, and personnel record maintenance.
- Set up new employees in payroll and time & attendance systems.
- Assist with follow-through on employee on-boarding including training.
- Perform routine tasks required to administer HR programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, PTO, and disciplinary matters.
- Perform routine tasks related to performance management, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers, referring complex matters to the Business Manager or Owner.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with policy review, editing, and maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Associates Degree or higher preferred
- SHRM certification preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years in general HR Administration or Management
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
- Must be able to access and navigate office and warehouse premises.
