Childrens Home Society of NC has been building families through adoption and foster care for over 115 years. We place approximately 400 children each year in permanent, loving homes in North Carolina with a special focus on placing older children in the foster care system into caring homes. However, we are much more than just a placement agency. We provide therapy and support for children who have suffered abuse and neglect. We train and support foster families. We provide counseling to birth mothers facing unplanned pregnancies.
