We are currently looking for a passionate and engaged Talent Management Specialist to join our team! Reporting to the Vice President, Talent Strategies, and working alongside an excellent team, this role will provide support on a variety of initiatives including, Recruitment & Selection, Onboarding & Orientation, Health & Safety, HRIS, Employee Relations, Wellness, and much more.

Please note that this role requires occasional travel.

What you will do :

• Facilitate the recruitment process from beginning to end, ensuring positive candidate experiences.
• Facilitate new employee onboarding to optimize first impressions and ensure a smooth offboarding process when necessary.
• Administer employee HRIS records, employee files and employee benefit programs, and assist employees with related inquiries.
• Support day to day HR-related tasks and partner with people leaders to provide coaching, guidance, and advice on people matters and policies.
• Participate in the development and administration of employee programs and policies that align with our culture and evolving employee needs and preferences.
• Leverage technology to increase effectiveness and create efficiency both within the team and across the organization.

What you need to be successful :

• Maintain a professional demeanor and strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to work in an independent and self-directed manner and possessing the ability to rely on experience and judgement when dealing with human resource matters.
• Keen attention to detail and experience in managing confidential and sensitive information.
• Strong MS Office skills, particularly with Excel.
• Experience working within a sales organization with a multi-state team; prior experience in agri-business industry is a strong asset.

Education & Experience :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources and 3-5 years of human resources experience required.
• HR certification is preferred.
