Sayres is seeking a Junior Program/Project Manager with Secret, verifiable in DISS, located in Washington D.C.

Requirements:

• Deliver program management, acquisition, and financial support to the NAVSEA Mine Warfare Program Office. Work in a team environment to meet client challenges, provide critical thinking and analysis. Build and maintain essential relationships with direct clients and supporting commands.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of program and financial management support in a government contracting environment
• Knowledge of monitoring compliance with general contract terms and conditions for federal government contracts and supporting multiple clients in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint & Outlook)
• Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills, including with preparing and delivering briefings and reports to senior government executives
• Work independently, or as part of a team, to identify, research, discuss, and resolve program, administrative and financial issues
• Demonstrated organizational skills helping clients manage, track, and report work activities
• Secret clearance

Preferred:

• 2 years of experience with the Naval Sea Systems Command or Navy Program Executive Office
• Experience with DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution Process (PPBE) process
• Experience in developing briefings or white papers for Senior DoD Leaders
• Experience with Microsoft Visio & Project
• Experience with Department of Defense, military or science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)
• Experience with consulting and technical advisement
• Knowledge of DoD 5000.02 and the Adaptive Acquisition Framework
• Knowledge of Research and Development programs
