Synchron, LLC is Hiring a Junior Program Manager - NAVSEA Support Near Washington, DC
Synchron, LLC is recruiting for a Junior Program Manager to deliver program management, acquisition, and financial support to the NAVSEA Mine Warfare Program Office. Work in a team environment to meet client challenges, provide critical thinking and analysis. Build and maintain essential relationships with direct clients and supporting commands.Basic Qualifications:
Knowledge of program and financial management support in a government contracting environment
Knowledge of monitoring compliance with general contract terms and conditions for federal government contracts and supporting multiple clients in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint & Outlook)
Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills, including with preparing and delivering briefings and reports to senior government executives
Work independently, or as part of a team, to identify, research, discuss, and resolve program, administrative and financial issues
Demonstrated organizational skills helping clients manage, track, and report work activities
Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience with the Naval Sea Systems Command or Navy Program Executive Office
Experience with DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution Process (PPBE) process
Experience in developing briefings or white papers for Senior DoD Leaders
Experience with Microsoft Visio & Project
Experience with Department of Defense, military or science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)
Experience with consulting and technical advisement
Knowledge of DoD 5000.02 and the Adaptive Acquisition Framework
Knowledge of Research and Development programs
Work Location:
DC area (3 days/week Washington Navy Yard)
