Synchron, LLC is Hiring a Junior Program Analyst - Supporting OPNAV Near Arlington, VA
Synchron is seeking qualified candidates to support OPNAV daily administrative functions and routines. This includes coordinating appointments and meetings, coordinate and adjust conference room usage requests, maintaining schedules and event calendars, operation of unclassified and classified VTC suite, screening visitors and phone calls, and other administrative tasks for senior level OPNAV personnel.Responsibilities: • Assist OPNAV personnel with implementation of business processes. This includes contributing to and preparing personnel management documentation, participating in long range planning activities, establishing tasking priority/tracking, and metric development.• Coordinate travel and claim submission for Division leadership using the Defense Travel System (DTS).• Coordinate, review, format, and maintain files of fitness reports (FITREPs) and division awards.• Maintain security protocol throughout office spaces including the proper disposal of sensitive and classified material.• Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls, handing requests for information and data• Resolve administrative problems and inquires deferring to the appropriate government POCs when difficult questions or issues arise.• Coordinating appointments, schedules, event calendars and meeting calendars. Adjust conference room usage requests to avoid scheduling conflicts• Maintain office calendars and print daily/weekly schedule of meetings and appointments• Work closely with the offices of Flag and General Officers, Senior Executives and other senior to ensure schedules are synchronizedEducation and Experience Requirements:• Education: Bachelor’s degree and 1 or more year of professional experience• Strong communication skills• Experience with Office Suite• Analytical skills, evidenced by at least an internship or professional experience performing general support tasks• Able to walk approximately ¼ mile during the work day for client visits and to attend meetings. Able to travel by commercial airline and rental vehicle if needed for Government travel requirements. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.• Preferred Experience: Front office experience with the U.S. government in a civilian, contractor, or active duty capacity (especially with the US Navy)Security Clearance – Active Secret clearanceSYNCHRON, LLC provides technical support services to the Department of Defense, Government Contractors, and select partners.
