Due to our continued growth and success, we are currently seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) with a broad understanding of the battery market in North America. The BDM will grow battery sales by cultivating current customers and developing new customers. The BDM will participate in selecting new battery products and vendors to broaden our offering. How you will spend your time:
•The Business Development Manager will work with regional teams and customers from the design cycle through the production cycle to secure new custom battery business.
•Assist the sales team with additional qualification support for all power and battery products.
•While developing battery opportunities, identify power supply and thermal management opportunities.
•Support the sales team in the design and pursuit of custom battery opportunities including application engineering support.
•Provide new product and technology updates to customers and the sales team.
•Assist procurement and engineering teams with selection, strategic sourcing, and designing with universal components.
•Communicate market and customer activity and trends to management.
•Attend technical trainings at our suppliers and service center locations.
•Participate with sales management team in updating assigned customer plans and setting sales growth plans.
We’re excited if you have:
•Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Marketing or Business.
•At least 5 years of experience successfully promoting and selling engineered customer power solutions and batteries to customers in North America.
•The ability to work with engineering and internal support teams to offer the best solutions to our customers within the product lines we have to offer.
•General computer skills, including a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
•Strong organization and time management skills.
•Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$150,000 - $165,000
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
