We’re seeking a skilled and professional bookkeeper / administrative assistant to provide accounting and administrative support for the business. The candidate must have a great work ethic, strong attention to detail, and be a great team member. The candidate must be dependable and committed to both their own and the company’s success. Rocky's Ultimate Garage is seeking a candidate intrested in a long-term opportunity with job security.
Duties:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing calendars
- Prepare and edit documents, including correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and files
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements
- Conduct research and compile data as needed
- Assist with financial tasks such as account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and journal entries
- Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee records
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in business administration or related field preferred
- Proven experience as bookkeeper and administrative assistant.
- Proficient in Quickbooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of financial concepts and double-entry bookkeeping
- Familiarity with general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position with regular business hours.
Note: All positions at our company are paid positions. We do not offer unpaid internships or volunteer opportunities.
