Oversee and assist in the training of Member Service employees.
Elevate appropriate issues or concerns to USBA/VP/COO
Monitor all work queues, plan the work, assign items to employees as workload and resources dictate. Personally assist with work queues as needed to maintain established standards of excellence.
Interact w/USBA Senior Management and other personnel pertinent to underwriting, CSR, and claims matters; evaluate, assess and recommend to senior management.
Prepare reports for senior management: Weekly work status reports, monthly underwriting and claims reports, annual claims and service stats for corporate membership and board of directors meetings
Provide signature approval of verification of claims, beneficiary forms, transfer of ownership forms and collateral assignments
Coordinate w/NYL on the review of legal documents from customers, such a powers of attorney and divorce decrees to determne the authority granted, legal requirements or action required.
Determine the appropriate action for requests esclated to managment because they fall outside normal procedures.
Prepare the file, review, and approve the prododuction of IRS 1099 forms for life insurance.
