Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Assistant Property Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in multifamily housing management and a strong understanding of property management principles. This role will support the Property Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, resident relations, leasing activities, and maintenance coordination.Responsibilities:Leasing and Resident Relations:Assist in the leasing process, including conducting property tours, screening prospective tenants, and preparing lease agreements.Respond promptly to inquiries and concerns from current and prospective residents.Maintain positive relationships with tenants through effective communication and exceptional customer service.Property Operations:Assist in the implementation and enforcement of property rules and regulations.Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations.Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, including soliciting bids, scheduling contractors, and ensuring timely completion of work orders.Oversee move-in and move-out processes, including unit inspections and security deposit disposition.Financial Management:Assist in rent collection and processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Monitor budget performance and assist in financial reporting as needed.Maintain accurate records of income and expenses related to property operations.Administrative Support:Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports.Maintain organized and up-to-date resident files and property records.Prepare correspondence and notices to residents as necessary.Team Collaboration:Collaborate with the Property Manager and other team members to achieve property goals and objectives.Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
