Our client, an international law firm, is seeking an Event Planner/Manager to join their team on a long-term contract basis. This is a hybrid role, requiring regular work in the client's Chicago, NYC or Seattle offices. Travel is expected throughout the length of the contract, as needed for client events. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Create, assemble, and distribute event related materials, including preparation of PowerPoint presentations, necessary documents, and finalize event details.Participate in regular planning calls and ensure effective communication and coordination with all stakeholders.Manage day-to-day event planning logisticsPlan and execute internal programs, retreats, and meetings, along with client-facing events.Organize in-office event support, making a mandatory office visit at least twice a month.Conduct thorough research on potential venues and vendors for the events.Work with and manage vendor relationships.
