Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Event Coordinator assistant to join our team. The Event Coordinator assistant will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong background in restaurant or hospitality industry. This position is hourly plus tips as the employee is expected to work events as the event lead in coordination with the Event Coordinator.
Duties:
- Assist in planning and coordinating all aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and decor
- Communicate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences
- assist in creation event proposals and contracts, outlining all details and terms
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and products
- Coordinating event budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effective solutions
- Coordinate event logistics, such as setup, breakdown, and transportation
- Oversee on-site event operations to ensure smooth execution
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests throughout the event
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination is required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients, vendors, and team members
- Knowledge of contract negotiation and vendor management
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Familiarity with event marketing strategies is a plus
- Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred
