Responsibilities require in-depth knowledge of cost accounting, manufacturing processes, GAAP and best practices.Responsibilities:-Perform monthly close processes, including cost accounting accruals, inventory costing, obsolescence, balance sheet reviews and account reconciliations.-Analyze actual manufacturing costs, prepare periodic report comparing standard costs to actual production costs and maintain the standard cost system ensuring standards represent actual costs.-Drive recurring accounting procedures in inventory, including, but not limited to, accounting for variances, valuation, cost allocations, and physical inventory.-Prepare inventory, warranty reserve and E& O analysis and work with other for inputs.-Perform product COGS, variances and margin analysis.-Participate in the planning, design and implement processes and controls for physical inventories and cycle counts-Interface with external auditors and assist in annual audits.
