The job requires the use of various accounting software systems and a good understanding of accounting functions.Responsibilities:• Match purchase orders with invoices and enter necessary data into the accounting system.• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders.• Verify the accuracy of bills and invoices.• Process expense reports and reimbursement claims.• Reconcile accounts by investigating documentation and resolving discrepancies.• Issue payments to vendors in collaboration with the finance team.• Maintain accounting ledgers as necessary.• Create and update records and databases, tracking all payment and transaction records.• Prepare financial reports related to the accounts payable function.• Adhere to and enforce the company's accounts payable policies and procedures.• Utilize accounting software systems like Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions and data entry.• Handle check processing and discrepancy resolution.
