Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join a team of highly skilled professionals in a stimulating work environment. This role will require the candidate to attend to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department and work closely with the Controller & AP Team. The candidate will mainly focus on matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. Located in Vancouver, Washington, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract.Your responsibilities- Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents- Help with internal and external audits as required- Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department- Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed- Perform special projects as assigned- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling- Implement full-cycle A/P- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
