Matching, batching, and coding invoices, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, and resolving A/P issues are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. Based out of the Spartanburg, South Carolina area, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / contract to permanent opening.What you get to do every single day- Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it- Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks- Operate full-cycle A/P- Provide support to internal business partners- Execute additional tasks as needed- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents- Facilitate internal and external audits as needed- Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
