We are seeking a diligent Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Peachtree City, Georgia. The role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves reconciling vendor statements, entering invoices, and maintaining internal vendor files. The successful candidate will be expected to assist suppliers and internal departments to resolve problems, as well as to conduct other tasks related to the Accounts Payable function.Responsibilities:• Reconcile vendor statements in a timely and accurate manner• Efficiently enter invoices into the computer system• Ensure that sufficient backup is obtained before invoices are paid• Assist suppliers and internal departments in resolving problems• Maintain organized and up-to-date internal vendor files• Conduct research and assist in other accounting areas as needed• Reconcile freight invoices to ensure accuracy• Verify bank information and address changes with suppliers• Maintain inventory of supplies for the office and breakroom• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable, Reference Checks, and Coding Invoices to perform duties effectively and efficiently.
