The main responsibilities will include matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area and will be a short-term contract position.Your responsibilities- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies- Provide customer service to internal business partners- Conduct full-cycle A/P- Complete special projects on an as-needed basis- Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department- Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling- Assist with internal and external audits as needed- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents- Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
