We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Enter vendor bills against purchase orders efficiently and accurately.
- Resolve purchase order issues in collaboration with the Purchasing and Inside Sales teams.
- Conduct weekly payment runs.
- Reconcile credit card and expense reports on a monthly basis.
- Answer vendor inquiries regarding payment status.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of Accounts Payable experience is ideal, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to act with a sense of urgency and responsiveness.
