RoadSafe Traffic Systems is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Columbus, OH

- Build comprehensive spreadsheets by assessing line item quantities from foreman’s reports for accurate project billings
- Confirm tickets through TCR (Ticket Confirmation Record) daily
- Prepare and send invoices to customers based on project work tickets and time sheets
- Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable reports, contact overdue customers, resolve disputes, and collect outstanding amounts
- Generate weekly and monthly Accounts Receivable reports and actively engage in Division Accounts Receivable calls
- Reconcile quantity and payment discrepancies, maintaining detailed backup data for future billing references
- Daily collaboration with general contractors, owners, etc., to validate materials and quantities. Resolve quantity issues through meetings with contractors and state agencies
- Enter daily unloading slips into the accounting system, and organize related reports for filing
- Draft, write, and maintain records of project correspondence, reports, forms, and relevant material
- Provide support for Accounts Receivable tasks when required
- Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet set deadlines
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Associates degree is highly preferred
- Prior payroll and billing experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other related programs at an intermediate level
- Strong communication skills with a high attention to detail and ability to work in a face-pace construction office environment
