We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join an experienced finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable processes, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. This role offers the chance to contribute to the success of our organization by processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments.
- Review invoices for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies with vendors or internal stakeholders.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with month-end closing processes, including accruals and account reconciliations.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support purchasing and procurement processes.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the accounts payable function.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and payments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
