Restore Hyper Wellness is looking for a Controller to join our team in our Chicagoland office. The Controller will handle the day to accounting functions for 11 studios located in Illinois and South Carolina. This position will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processes, monthly financials as well as being a major contributor to the company's financial planning.
This position has the flexibility to work from home or our Chicago office. 

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, attentive, and efficient. They can complete work skillfully and independently. The Controller must be good at giving and receiving constructive feedback. 

Responsibilities: 

• Documentation – Maintain an accounting system of procedures and guidelines to follow. Implement controls to minimize risk. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
• Reporting – Oversee the production of required reports and ensure they meet accounting guidelines and principles. Collaborate with outside accounting firm and provide needed information as requested. Produce annual reporting, budgets, and forecasting.
• Financial performance review – Assist in the budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes to keep senior leadership team informed of the organization's financial status.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required
• Master's degree or professional accounting designation. CPA is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting and finance experience.
• Proficient in Quickbooks
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and accounting guidelines
• String analytical, problem-solving, and decision making capabilities.
