Your seat at the table: Accountant

You will love this seat if you get, want, and have the capacity to:

• Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies.
• Prepare and file sales and use tax returns using Avalara tax software.
• Prepare daily credit card reconciliations – investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Review, process and reconcile employee expense reports in Concur, ensuring compliance with company policy.
• Track prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and record monthly depreciation/amortization.
• Facilitate collaborative post-project reviews for CapEx projects
• Issue tax reporting for distributions (e.g. 1099’s)
• Assist with month end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and annual external audit.
• Initiate manual invoices and perform daily deposits.
• Assist with Accounts Payable transactions including invoice entry, pay runs, etc.
• Administer corporate credit card program.
• Perform other backup duties and special projects, as requested.

We need this seat to have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Corporate Accounting/Audit.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the organization
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
