Your seat at the table: Quality Assurance Manager

You will love this seat if you get, want, and have the capacity to:

  • LMA (Lead, Manage, Accountability)
    • Maintain knowledge of current developments in area of expertise
    • Lead a team in the development of Corrective Action & Preventative Action (CAPA) plans based on customer feedback
    • Lead and coordinate communication between Regal Ware Divisions, Product Development, and Manufacturing to address customer quality related concerns
  • Development, Alignment, and Execution of The Quality Management System (QMS)
    • Monitor organizational procedures to ensure proper functioning
    • Perform inspections and audits of quality plans
    • Conduct product testing for Quality Assurance, Design Engineering and Research & Development
  • Quality Standards Are Defined, Trained, and followed by all.
  • Cost Reduction Road Map Developed with Metrics to track progress.
    • Perform analysis and metrics for process quality, product quality, and customer & warranty returns
    • Advise customers on technical or procedural issues and recommend any process or policy changes

We need this seat to have:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 4-year degree.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.
  • 3 years of experience managing a team.
  • Ability to run meetings and present data to all leadership levels.
  • Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Ability to evaluate information to determine compliance with division standards.
  • Logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to quality issues.
  • Ability to motivate, develop, and direct team, including identifying the best people for the job.
  • Experience working with a departmental budget
  • Six Sigma Black Belt highly preferred
