Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Check Processing
• Handle incoming mail/correspondence/incoming calls directly related to delinquent owner accounts
• Daily interaction with multiple law firms and lien services in connection with mutual clients
• Invoice legal fees and costs
• Update account status for all collection accounts
• Research property ownership
• File preparation and referral to law firm or lien service
• Communicate with customers regarding payments and account related issues (customers include closing agents, title agents, home owners/seller/buyers, law firms and lien services)
• Statutory compliant payment plans
• Perform other tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• Good technology skills
• A/R - Accounting background - required
• This position requires attention to detail and a desire to do it right the first time
• A strong customer service personality and willingness to help are highly desired
• Must be able to process high volume with attention to detail
• 10-Key 
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Collection or paralegal experience preferred
• Some college courses, especially accounting is a plus

Pay and Benefits:

$21.00 to $23.00 , depending on education and experience.
