Position Title: Vice President of Operations

Department : Operations

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

Location: Lakewood, Colorado or Remote

Travel: Travel required (up to 40%)

FLSA Status: Full-time, Salary Exempt

About Woodhouse:
Woodhouse Spas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Radiance Holdings, LLC. Woodhouse believes that true renewal leads to a more joyful life and we are looking for a VP of Operations who supports the Woodhouse Mission through various operation initiatives. The VP of Operations is the representation of the Woodhouse brand to the franchisee community. They drive the overall satisfaction of Spa guests, profitability, and adherence to brand standards. They also embody and foster all aspects of the brand, culture, and core values to protect the franchisees’ investment and future.
Primary Responsibilities:

Operations

  • Looks for methods to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity, reduce costs and increase profits
  • Understands the day-to-day operations of the WH spas and can adjust operational procedures based on better efficiencies, cost, or innovation
  • Capable of educating the Franchisees on WH profit and loss statements
  • Works collaboratively to develop and/or improve systems, processes, controls, and procedures that improve the overall efficiency and excellent service
  • Owns the content of the Operations Manual, ensuring that it reflects the current standards
  • Drives franchisee engagement in all critical programs and events, including our annual conference, regional meetings, webinars, e-mail communications, social media, and intranet, measuring results based on correlation to performance and overall satisfaction.
  • Builds positive, trusting relationships with new and existing franchise owners, vendors, the Woodhouse team, and other Radiance Holdings brand leaders
  • Leads team of Franchise Business Consultants (FBC) who influence the spa owners toward executing the Woodhouse Success Model.
  • Demonstrates and ensures operational excellence through the training, coaching, performance improvement, and encouragement of FBC’s.
  • Actively partners with the IT, HR, Finance, Distribution, Marketing, and Education teams
  • Maintains and enhances the system for effective location evaluations.
  • Consistently acts in a manner that upholds the company values of Joy, Integrity, Teamwork, and Achievement.

Company Spas

  • Accountable for the success of the corporate locations, with direct P&L responsibility for individual location performance, overall market performance, and overall performance of the significant EBITDA stream these locations provide.
  • Ensures company spas set the example for innovation and evolution across the Woodhouse brand, working closely with the Radiance and Woodhouse team to propose new innovations, develop projects, and test concepts in our corporate stores.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • CFE preferred
  • Experience with P&L tracking
  • Experience with creating and implementing a strategic plan

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Franchising
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-unit operations
  • Experience in the Spa and/or Wellness industry preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience in leading a team

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The annual compensation for this position is set from $130,000 - $175,000 annually and is commensurate with experience. This is a full-time salary exempt position, meaning this role is not eligible for overtime compensation.
  • Discretionary Bonus based off company and individual performance. All bonuses are subject to board approval.
  • 9/80 work schedule, which gives employees the opportunity to have a 3-day weekend every other week.
