Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., a multi-office national firm is currently seeking a competent and experienced attorney to join our growing practice in our Charlotte office. The individual in this role would be responsible for compiling and maintaining case files, adhering to court requirements, and acting as an advocate to our list of clients. You are asked to work for the client’s best interest no matter what obstacle is placed before you by gathering, analyzing and studying evidence. This job requires loyalty, problem solving skills and a desire to learn something new every day. The ideal candidate will have a background in both civil law and workers’ compensation law and have a portable book of business.
· 5 years of workers’ compensation experience and portable book of business highly preferred.
· Administrative and managerial experience preferred.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Skills of persuasion and negotiation.
· Strong time management and organizational skills.
· Detail oriented.
· Strong computer skills and competency.
· Professional attitude and strong personal ethics.
· Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA accredited university.
. Qualified candidates must be an active member in good standing with the Chicago Bar.
