Hutchens Law Firm is Hiring an Attorney - Real Estate Near Charlotte, NC
As an attorney in our growing real estate practice, you will oversee all aspects of a real estate closing; from title search and review to closing ceremonies to funding and disbursements. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Draft, review and comment upon real estate closing documents including purchase and sale agreements, closing statements and loan documents.Search and review Title to real property. Certifying the same to the title companies as needed to obtain title insurance policies for clients.Communicate with clients, brokers, lendersConduct closing ceremoniesAssist in staff development and oversightMinimum Qualifications 0-2 years of experience in the practice of real estate law J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in South Carolina (North Carolina a plus)Effective time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex legal and business documents. High level of reasoning ability and even temperament Preferred Skills & Experience 3 years of experience in the practice of real estate law Work Environment This position would be onsite at Charlotte or Columbia South Carolina location.
