Quill & Arrow LLP is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Litigation Paralegal!

As a Litigation Paralegal in our Lemon Law department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in all aspects of the litigation process. Your responsibilities will include:

Document Preparation: Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and correspondence.

Discovery Support: Assisting in the preparation of discovery requests and responses, including gathering and analyzing evidence, and preparing document productions.

Trial Preparation: Assisting attorneys in trial preparation, which may include organizing exhibits, witness coordination, and maintaining trial calendars.

Client Interaction: Communicating with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and coordinate meetings or depositions.

Our diligent Litigation team is supported by various other departments, including Client Relations, Calendaring, Document Gathering, Intake and Settlement Departments, meaning you're not spread thin - you're able to perfect your skill and continue to advance.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a litigation paralegal (no practice area preference)
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, including familiarity with court rules, filing requirements, and document management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft legal documents and correspondence accurately and professionally
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
• Proficiency in legal software and computer applications, such as case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach to work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Paralegal certification or an associate's degree in paralegal studies
• Experience working in a law firm
• Experience with discovery
• Familiarity with e-discovery platforms and document management software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
