Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and legal case management skills, as well as excellent organizational abilities. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing support to attorneys in all phases of litigation, including drafting legal documents, conducting research, and managing case files. Responsibilities: - Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs - Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases - Interview clients and witnesses to gather necessary information - Organize and maintain case files, including indexing and filing documents - Coordinate with external parties such as court personnel, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses - Assist in the preparation of trial materials and exhibits - Manage deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks - Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness - Perform general administrative and clerical tasks as needed - Assist with project management tasks related to litigation matters Skills: - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail - Proficient in legal case management software and tools - Ability to conduct interviews effectively to gather information - Knowledge of contract law and legal terminology - Familiarity with legal administrative procedures and processes - Strong clerical skills, including typing, filing, and record keeping - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively - Proficient in proofreading legal documents for errors or inconsistencies If you are a motivated individual with a passion for the legal field, we encourage you to apply for the position of Litigation Paralegal.
