The training and development manager is responsible for sourcing, implementing, and overseeing employee training and development programs within Q39, LLC. Their primary goal is to drive leadership development.

The training and development manager includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Training Program Design: This involves annually assessing Q39’s organizational training needs, designing training paths that support our core competencies, value differentiators and determining appropriate delivery methods (e.g., workshops, e-learning, on-the-job training).
• Training Implementation: The training manager ensures the successful execution of training programs, which may include coordination with other trainers, scheduling training sessions, and managing training budgets.
• Employee Development: They identify individual development needs and create career development plans or succession plans to help employees reach their full potential.
• Training Evaluation: This involves measuring the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance evaluations. The manager assesses if the training has achieved its desired outcomes and makes improvements as needed.
• Stay Up-to-Date: It is important for a training and development manager to stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure training programs remain relevant and effective.
• Collaboration: They work closely with other Q39 department heads, such as Human Resources, company President and CEO to understand Q39’s organizational goals and develop training programs that align with these objectives. They liaise with key stakeholders, including senior management and department heads, to understand their training needs and gain their support for training initiatives.
• Leadership: A training and development manager must be able to lead, facilitate, provide guidance, support, and mentorship across all levels.

To excel in this role, a strong background in training and development, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills, are necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• College degree preferred
• 2 years of training management
• 2 years working in Food and Beverage or Hospitality
• Strong technical skills to include Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Paycom is a bonus

Bi-lingual preferred but not required
