The Sous Chef of Pinewood Nashville should lead and inspire our team of professionals and assist us in offering an exceptional experience to every single guest. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef in maintaining kitchen operations and helping to create an innovative menu.

What we will ask of you:

• Coordinating cooks' tasks.
• Assist with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies
• Training new team members
• Setting and monitoring performance standards for staff.
• Working harmoniously with the Director of Kitchen Operations to ensure overall operations run smoothly.
• Effectively communicating with the management staff.
• Produce high-quality plates, including both design and taste
• Designing new recipes, planning menus, and selecting plate presentations.
• Performing some administrative tasks designated by the Executive Chef
• Adhering to hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures
• Solves problems that arise and seizes control of issues in the kitchen
• Have open availability to work some nights and weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
