Pileus Technologies is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near Wichita, KS

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our sales team. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. Key Responsibilities:

  • Close and grow sales through professional communication with potential clients in our marketplace.
  • Finding and developing new markets to improve sales
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements – speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns; recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future.
  • Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively.
  • Work with the service/engineering team to ensure customer project requirements are met.
  • Maintaining records of customer communications and contact information as required within CRM.
  • Making and presenting technical presentations to Decision Makers and Prospective Buyers.
  • Preparing responses to RFP (request for proposals) and RFI (request for information).
  • Attending and participating in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
  • Maintain awareness of pertinent client information, future plans, payment performance; communicate any client information that may affect company decisions to appropriate departments as needed.
  • Research market, organizations, and individuals to identify new opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing or marketing strategies.
  • Submit a variety of sales status reports as required, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
  • Submit prospective customer engagement plans, schedule client meetings and action plans for follow-up.
  • Is chiefly responsible for setting the customer’s expectations, for any sold product and service.

Performance Expectations:

  • Achieves assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.
  • Meets assigned expectations for profitability.
  • Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
  • Completes strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.

Qualifications:

· Three (3) to Five (5) years of proven Sales Experience, in magnifying opportunities in closing client deals.

· Corporate Technology sales and/or Subscription Based, experience a plus.

· Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.

· Previous experience with delivering Presentations to Potential Clients.

· Valid Driver ‘s License.

· Microsoft Office proficiency required, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

· CRM Experience (ConnectWise, Autotask).

  • Adept in developing and maintaining strong relationships with management, staff, vendors, and clients.
  • Exhibit a high degree of professionalism, balanced business judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, in both mundane and highly sensitive, albeit complex situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
