Job Responsibilities:

• 70% of the role with consist of assisting with A/P processing under the supervision of the Accounting Manager and/or Accountant.
• Monitor the accounting@ inbox to answer vendor and team-member questions and route AP items to the correct team-member for approval.
• Enter AP invoices into Sage Intacct, including determining accurate coding, sufficient documentation and ensuring sufficient approvals have been obtained.
• Monitor Expensify for employee reimbursements, review for accurate coding and enter into Sage Intacct
• Import grant payments into Sage Intacct
• 15% of the role will be dedicated to review/reconciliation of P-Cards
• Approximately 20-30 P-Card reports per month.
• Download P-Card statements from Access Online and distribute to P-Card holders.
• Review submitted P-Card reports via Expensify for accurate coding, sufficient documentation and completed approvals.
• Upload P-Card transactions into Sage Intacct and reconcile the P-Card payable account.
• 10% of the role will be related to vendor maintenance.
• Monitor inbox for incoming ACH documents and update vendor records in Sage Intacct accordingly.
• Record incoming contracts into Sage and monitor payments against contracts for accurate reporting.
• Additional duties will be related to other ad-hoc projects, as assigned.

Job Details:

• Payrate: $30.00/hr.
• 5-month temporary role
• Position scheduled to start in early May and last through early October.
• Schedule: 10:00am-4:00pm
• This position isPART-TIME (24-30 hrs. a week), with flexibility around days worked.
• Initial onsite orientation/training is required but can then change to a hybrid work schedule for the duration of the assignment.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 2-years of relevant experience or equivalent accounting coursework
• Thorough understanding of GAAP
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills combined with the ability to listen deeply and authentically.
• Ability to be adaptive and responsive to evolving priorities.
• Ability to be self-directed, take ownership, and see projects to completion in a timely manner.
• Humility and curiosity, and an understanding of how these qualities are connected to success in this role.
