Oscar Wilde is looking for an Executive Chef to join. We would like someone who has worked and has experience in American, Mediterranean cuisine. Summary of Position:

Our Executive Chefs are responsible for supervising the day to day operations at the restaurant. This includes managing production for all stations, assisting cooks when needed, and supporting the entire kitchen staff controlling food, labor, and operational costs. The executive Chef should be able to manage all aspects of the kitchen in the absence of any staff member . He/she should have accurate knife skills, the ability to read and follow recipes, train employees, and maintain health department, food quality, and company standards. This is a faced paced environment. This position expects the Executive Chef to fill any holes on the line should emergencies arise.

Requirements:

-Open availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as requested

-At least 4-5 years cooking in a high-volume kitchen, with at least 2 of those years in a management or supervisory role

-Experience with inventory management and waste control

-Self-motivated, inspiring, positive attitude and eager for growth

-NYC Health Department Certification
