Salary Range: $62,400 - $75,000 per year

Job Summary:

The Facilities Manager will directly manage all staffing and resources dedicated to the upkeep and maintenance of the park, by overseeing equipment, attractions, and infrastructure repairs. This position will also oversee all landscaping, park signage, and custodial operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day operations of the facility as it relates to buildings, equipment, attractions, parking, security, custodial, signage, and groundskeeping. 
• Ensure the park is always clean and orderly.
• Ensure the facilities and attractions comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Oversee maintenance of park attractions and their compliance with applicable standards of operation.
• Schedule routine inspections, preventive maintenance plans, and emergency repairs, when needed, using both internal and outside resources 
• Lean and manage in a way that results in maintaining excellent positive guest relations
• Ensure facilities are consistent with all company quality standards, property acquisition and/or disposal standards.
• Manage property landscaping, walkways, vegetation, flood zones, water, and utilities. 
• Monitor the cleanliness and safety of the park, both public facing and backstage spaces
• Under the direction of the General Manager, collaborate, create, and manage department / project budgets.
• Lead and assist others in training employees on applicable equipment, certifications, and safety standards.
• Assist in the implementation of security measures for the park and manage the execution of security programs.
• Ensure Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) regulations and company safety policies are being met and maintained.
• Ensure that all maintenance, safety, and security files, reports, and records are properly completed and retained.
• Develop, maintain, schedule, and keep accurate and up-to-date files on equipment, vehicles, buildings, attractions, etc.
• Collaborate with the Entertainment Leadership team and staff to assist in the construction of sets, props, and other technical projects.
• Ensure the set-up/tear-down of seasonal events and private event equipment, by creating schedules and setting specific deadlines.
• Collaborate with other department managers to ensure that facility maintenance and repairs for all departments, are achieved within acceptable and agreed timelines.
• Flexibly schedule their employees to meet the needs of all departments in the support of all park events and projects 
• Work directly with the Human Resources team on staff recruitment, planning, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action, reviews, and termination
• Pre-plan repair, maintenance and new builds around weather, events, and operations
• Complete administration duties such as payroll, scheduling, expense reports, project management reports, end of month expenses, bid process, safety meetings, and others as needed or required. 
• Work with county officials and outside contractors on property repairs and construction.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Education, Skill, & Work Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role overseeing facilities and equipment maintenance is required.
• Amusement ride maintenance experience preferred.
• Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and HVAC experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams required.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and should be an initiative-taker.
• Ability to prioritize time, project planning and responsibilities based on company needs.
• Above-average communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
• Must currently have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to use software to manage projects and timelines.
• Skilled at operating trucks, trailers, equipment, power tools.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, walk on uneven ground, sit, bend, stoop, and lift 25-75 pounds.

Work Environment:

• Considerable amount of time spent outdoors, often in extreme heat.
• Evening, holidays, and weekend work required.
