    Salary Range: $31,200 - $43,680 DOE
    Summary:
    Performs a wide range of facilities services tasks including non-technical maintenance of plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilating, and/or air conditioning facilities and equipment, at a level not requiring formal licensure according to service, quality, and safety standards. May be required to perform tasks of other unlicensed trades, such as a light equipment operator, carpenter, painter, and/or locksmith.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    The list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented.
    • Monitors, maintains, and performs standard repairs to building electrical facilities and systems
    • Monitors performance of heating, ventilation, and cooling systems for the facility; performs standard repair/replacement of components, as appropriate, and non-technical maintenance tasks such as cleaning of heating and cooling fan coil units and adjustment of system controls
    • Monitors and performs non-technical maintenance of plumbing systems, to include standard repair of leaking fixtures, cleaning obstructed waste lines, installing water coolers, and/or performing non-technical modifications to plumbing and water supply systems; assists licensed plumbers, as appropriate, some welding, power washing
    • Performs preventative maintenance to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, thermostats, light fixtures, light switches, doors and locks, electrical control panels
    • Performs carpentry maintenance tasks including routine sheetrock/drywall installation and/or repair, window replacement, cabinet and countertop replacement, painting and texturing, and door and hardware installation, windows, paints interior and exterior, door frames, shelves, chairs
    • Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
    • Some experience with welding, running heavy equipment, and power washing
    • Able to safely access roof, etc. for inspections, maintenance, sweeping and repairs
    • installation of HVAC filters, replace and install light bulbs, faucet and sink drain service as needed
    • Documents facilities maintenance requirements; maintains appropriate records of work performed.
    • Must observe safety procedures and proper use of equipment, materials and products
    • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
    Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications/Skills/Abilities/Education and/or Experience:
    • High School diploma or equivalent required
    • Minimum three years of experience in maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Regularly required to stand, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, crawl, pull, twist, bend, climb, and lift with one or both arms above shoulder level
    • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 75 pounds
    • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors year round
    • Able to climb extension ladders
    • Skilled in the use of applicable hand and power tools
    • Skill in the use of appropriate technology
    • Ability to communicate effectively
    • Time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
    • Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade
    • Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
    • Proof of MMR immunization (unless born prior to January 1, 1957)
    • Current negative TB test (within the last year)
    • Must pass a criminal background check
    • Valid Arizona Driver’s license
