The Old Spaghetti Factory has continued to grow for 55 years and we are looking to add a Controller to join our team!

Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

· Oversee accounting team operations, including; A/P, bank recs, sales/property taxes, payroll, intercompany accounting and balance sheet management.

· Prepare period (and ad-hoc) financial statements/reports, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and GAAP compliance.

· Ensure proper policies, procedures and controls are in place related to transactions to minimize risk.

· Work with auditors and provide needed information for the financial annual review and 401k audit.

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.

· Work with Owners and Executive Team on achieving company goals and targets.

· Perform other related duties as necessary:

o P & C insurance annual audits

o BNA fixed assets

o 8027 Reporting

o Unclaimed Property

Qualifications:

· Familiarity in the restaurant industry preferred but not required

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA designation preferred

· Ability to travel 5% of the time

· Valid driver’s license and vehicle ownership preferred.

· Self-starter, task/deadline driven, and well-organized with keen attention to detail.

· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute duties, including a sense of urgency in addressing issues or challenges and solving problems.

· Professional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to diplomatically negotiate problem-resolution.

· Ability to work effectively independently and in team settings, including ability to communicate with a wide range of internal and external customers.

· Advanced level experience in Word, Excel, ERP, and navigating the Internet.

Physical Requirements:

Position requires, at times, continuous walking, standing, stooping, bending with intermittent climbing, squatting. Also requires intermittent phone work, keyboarding, and use of office machines. May occasionally be required to lift or carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds and periodically assist others in lifting heavier objects weighing up to several hundred pounds. Requires concentration and, at times, working in noisy environments. 

Salary: $100,000-$130,000 per year
