USC Shoah Foundation – The Institute for Visual History and Education provides opportunities for survivors and witnesses to the Shoah—the genocide of the Jews—to tell their own stories in their own words in audio-visual interviews, preserve their testimonies, and make them accessible for research, education, and outreach for the betterment of humankind in perpetuity. Its collections include over 56,000 video testimonies, and it convenes academic programs and partnerships across USC and 170 universities, as well as an award-winning IWitness education program. The USCSF Administrative Assistant I supports all USCSF departments. The Administrative Assistant I is responsible for the timely completion of administrative tasks, including organizing and executing lay leadership meetings.
Working in the Administration Department, this organized self-starter supports activities related to engaging with lay leaders, university administration, and senior staff, including meeting logistics, communications, scheduling, and reporting.

Minimum Education:
Associate’s degree
Combined experience/education as a substitute for minimum education
Minimum Experience: 2 years
Minimum Field Expertise:
Secretarial or specialized clerical, including some administrative experience
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Experience:
3 years
Minimum Field of Expertise:
Secretarial or specialized clerical, including some administrative experience.
Preferred Field of Expertise:
Combined secretarial and administrative experience in a university environment, preferably

The hourly rate range for this position is $22.29 - $25.00.
