BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Financial Operations and Systems (OFOS), Financial Operations Division (FOD). The incumbent is responsible for providing support in the areas of budget formulation, execution, and monitoring; contracting and procurement; purchase card administration and monitoring; time reporting review; and other related functions. Duties include, but are not limited to: participating in the annual budget formulation process; serving as the informational contact for the contracting office; and maintaining accurate accountability of department/program financial resources in compliance with policies and regulations and the overall efficiency of financial operations. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Two (2) years of progressive experience performing the related duties and responsibilities such as assisting with budget formulation and preparing financial reports; tracking expenditures, reconciling financial accounts and conducting financial analysis; reviewing and processing financial transactions (i.e. Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable); and utilizing financial systems to validate and verify financial data.
Specialized Experience

Experience that provides the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for this position.

SALARY REDUCTION OF REEMPLOYED ANNUITANTS:

An individual selected for employment in the District Government on or after January 1, 1980, who is receiving an annuity under any District government civilian retirement system, shall have his or her pay reduced by the amount of annuity allocable to the period of employment as a reemployed annuitant.
