Nvent is Hiring a HR Coordinator Near San Diego, CA

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Support site HR initiatives and engagement activities that improve employee experiences grow successful teams and reinforce our values and culture.

  • Collaborate with site management, our Talent Acquisition Team, and third-party employment agencies, participating in recruitment activities to address site staffing needs, focusing on diversity and effective candidate selection.

  • Provide day-to-day coaching on various actions, including employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application, talent management and development, and organizational design consultation.

  • Aid in the facilitation of site Human Resources processes such as onboarding, benefit administration, pay reviews, training, performance management and off boarding.

  • Partner with Payroll, HRIS, and Compensation and Benefits functions as needed to provide solutions for employee questions.

  • Facilitate effective delivery of employee communications, including announcing organization changes, new hires, key initiative updates, and nVent and Segment news.

  • Support HR alignment by collaborating with HR teams across the business to drive consistent execution of HR services.

YOU HAVE:

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.

  • Ideally, you will have 3 or more years of experience in Human Resources.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS Systems.

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

  • Experience in proactive employee relations, recruitment and staffing.

  • Skilled in employee relations, including fact-finding, managing conflicts, and developing win/win solutions, is desired.

  • Ability to lead through influence in a collaborative environment.

  • Demonstrated experience partnering on business/operational issues.

  • Knowledge of state and federal employment law including HR technical knowledge of EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment and worker's compensation.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:

$18.90 - $35.00 Per Hour
