NORTH SLOPE TELECOM INC is Hiring a Project Coordinator Near Anchorage, AK

 
 

North Slope Telecom INC (NSTI) is seeking a qualified Project Coordinator (PC)! We take pride in our continuous evolution. To achieve our goals we need a skilled and dedicated project management team, that will assist in other departments and help us grow. That is why we are seeking an ideal PC that will have administrative, travel coordination, and project management experience. The PC will also assist in travel coordination for NSTI personnel to travel throughout Alaska and beyond. If this sounds like something you can do, please read below to ensure this is the right position for you! 

This position is office based on-site in Anchorage, Alaska. 

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in project coordination or management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • CAPM, PMP or similar, preferred. 
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or related field or equivalent work experience, preferred. 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform project administrative duties, including but not limited to, file maintenance, photocopy, fax, notetaking.
  • Assist in establishing and documenting departmental policies and procedures.
  • Perform travel coordination duties for NSTI employees. 
  • Research and gather documentation on projects, locations, telecommunications competitors.
  • Assist in developing project management documents such as schedules, scope statements, plans, and reports.
  • Coordinate with other departments for scheduling of field resources and financials. 
  • Manage small internal projects, financial reporting, records, and spreadsheets.
  • Other work-related duties that further the goals of NSTI and meet the needs of the customers.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.
  • Travel coordination experience 
  • Displays integrity, honesty, & ethical principles.
  • Treats others with respect & dignity.
