LONG Building Technologies is Hiring a Project Coordinator Near Anchorage, AK

Position Summary

The Project Coordinator provides support within the Alaska operations, working closely with Sales, PMs, equipment requests and purchases, as well as invoices and files. This position will provide data entry and tracking functions within various systems and serve as a liaison between the business unit and accounting.

Pay Range: $23– $29 per hr. plus profit share.

Responsibilities

  • Purchase equipment for all projects
  • Process new project bookings from sales into accounting system
  • Monthly progress billings for construction projects
  • Establish and maintain cordial and functional relationships with factories and suppliers
  • Collect stock transfers from inventory and input to accounting job cost system
  • Serve as reliable integrated backup Project Administrators
  • Provide general administrative support for Alaska operations
  • Maintain project parts files with purchase orders, inventory transfers, invoices, bill of material, and transmittal information
  • Order incidental job supplies, tools, uniforms, etc. as requested by managers and R&D
  • Ensure that job tax schedules and certified payroll rates are correct and updated as necessary
  • Issue subcontracts as required and review/approve their invoices
  • Input change order estimates and SOWs
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • 2-year business school or 5 years related work experience
  • Computer literacy with specific experience using MS Office Products – Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 2-year minimum data entry experience

  • Routine sitting, lifting, bending, and kneeling
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floor
