GVEA is an electric cooperative which maintains 3,292 miles of transmission and distribution lines, 40 substations, and 9 generating facilities. Our system is interconnected with Fort Wainwright, Eielson AFB, Fort Greely, the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, and all of the electric utilities in the Alaska Railbelt, extending from Homer to Fairbanks. As the Construction Services Manager at Golden Valley Electric Association in Fairbanks, Alaska, you will play a vital role in overseeing the seamless processing of new services from initial application to final construction. Your responsibilities will include supervising and training teams in right of way acquisition, design for transmission and distribution systems, compliance with safety codes, and efficient project management.
