NFI Massachusetts is Hiring an Employee Relations Manager Near Danvers, MA

At NFI Massachusetts, you’ll join a group of compassionate, skilled, solutions-oriented individuals who are unwavering in their commitment to those in our care. As our new Employee Relations Manager, you will be the first to welcome and support job candidates and existing employees as they explore careers within our organization. Each day, you will put your people skills to use as you deliver innovative approaches to recruitment and retention that align with our core values as a non-profit human service agency.

A successful candidate is:

  • Friendly and engaging with interpersonal savvy that enables you to build and develop rapport with candidates and current employees
  • An innate “connector” who loves to network within communities
  • Strong oral and written communicator with the ability to clearly articulate the value of our programs and services
  • Driven, self-motivated, resourceful and organized

A Day in the Life:

  • Develop recruiting pipeline to engage qualified candidates, especially from underrepresented communities
  • Work with relevant team members to support employee relations throughout the agency including disciplinary actions, concerns, and investigations.
  • Create engaging recruitment materials (print, digital, and social media) including materials designed for multilingual speaking audiences
  • Work closely with HR to manage and analyze online recruiting platforms to ensure NFI Massachusetts career opportunities are reaching key audiences
  • Screen resumes, contact applicants, set up interviews, and support new candidates through the hiring process as needed
  • Attend job fairs and networking events when necessary
  • Develop a network of college/university contacts and establish an active presence on campuses to attract students to internship programs and career opportunities
  • Ensure the success of our internship program as a source of candidates

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in human services and the work of recruiting, community organizing, or marketing/branding
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS systems
  • Fluent in Spanish or Haitian Creole both oral and written preferred
  • Experience working with technology/tools related to applicant tracking system, candidate database and reporting

Start Date: Target state date May 1, 2024

Compensation: $60,000 yearly 

Hours: 30-40 hours per week to be negotiated.
