NFI Massachusetts, Inc., a non-profit human service agency, is currently seeking a Life Skills Coach for its Lofts program in Haverhill, MA.

The NFI Lofts is a 5-bedroom community living program for young adults between the ages of 18-22, in Haverhill MA. The role of a Residential Counselor/Life Skills Coach will work collaboratively with these young adults through mentoring and/or coaching as they transition towards independent living.

Pay: $22/hour

Essential Functions:

• Participates in day-to-day program operations.
• Coaches/Assists young adults in mastering independent skills in order for the young adult to be able to transition into their own residence in the community. These skills can range from resume building, interview skills, obtaining employment to continuing education, money management and household management.
• Provides counseling to clients as indicated by treatment plan and circumstance.
• Acts in accordance with the Agency’s policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications:

• Work experience in a residential care setting preferred. Lived Experience a PLUS
• High energy level and demonstrated ability to function in a team atmosphere.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, conflict resolution and team building skills.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess the ability to read, write and speak English.

Sunday 9am-8pm

Monday 12pm-10pm

Tuesday 12pm-10pm

Wednesday 11am-8pm
