Product Marketing Specialist (Hybrid)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Product Marketing Specialist will drive operational excellence in managing the Nespresso USA coffee machines portfolio. This involves meticulous execution of product launches, rigorous coordination of marketing activations, and enable the sales team with effective tools / product value propositions. The role demands strong project management skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer experiences. This is a hybrid role, supporting in our Manhattan HQ blended with some remote days on a weekly basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Portfolio Management:
  • Oversee the Nespresso coffee machines portfolio, ensuring optimal SKU performance
  • Regularly review consumer feedback, ratings and reviews and sales data to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with Quality Team to address product-related complaints and maintain high product quality
  • Work closely with the sales team to monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting plan as necessary
  • Conduct periodic deep dives into the category and portfolio to recommend changes or optimizations
Product Launch:
  • Co-develop and implement comprehensive route-to-market plans with cross-functional teams for new machine launches
  • Ensure all aspects of marketing activations, are aligned with overall product strategy
  • Lead the execution for machine launches including maintaining the launch calendar, developing product presentations, creating memos, and organizing training sessions
Product Experience:
  • Enhance the machine experience to drive consideration and purchase. This includes improving packaging, product PDPs, videos, descriptions, and visual assets
  • Improve customer onboarding and satisfaction by updating machine quick start guides, onboarding videos and machine troubleshooting resources
Sales Enablement:
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop effective sales tools
  • Collaborate with the sales team to manage machine distribution and develop targeted activations and promotions, ensuring the right offer/value is presented to consumers to drive acquisition
Second Life (Refurbishment) Program:
  • Work on expanding the second life program to new models/SKUs and enhance performance tracking mechanisms
  • Streamline the machine return process and develop attractive incentives to encourage program participation
  • Implement marketing activations to drive awareness and adoption of the program
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3 years Brand Management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Marketing, Engineering, or Business
  • 3 years experience in CPG, Kitchen Appliances or Consumer Electronics Industry, strongly preferred
  • Estimated travel 5%
SKILLS:
  • Highly organized and process oriented, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team and lead large meetings
  • Ability to convert raw data into actionable insights
  • Ability to identify when and how to escalate issues to management level
  • Experience managing complex platforms/operations/processes preferred
The approximate pay range for this position is $90,000- $100,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
