DIRECTOR, HUMAN RESOURCES
Summary
Reporting to and working closely with the Vice President, Human Resources, the Director, Human Resources (Director) actively participates in the development of overall human resources strategy, the administration of human resources policies, programs and practices related to employment, compensation, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, benefits, performance management, employee relations, recruiting and retention, and compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. The work involved includes performing various tasks requiring a substantive understanding of general and internal human resource policies, procedures and laws, with a strong focus on benefits. The Director will also support the Vice President with frequent special projects and will assume responsibilities in the Vice President’s absence as directed. The incumbent must display strong interpersonal skills and be able to handle sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality at all times. The Director deals with internal contacts at all levels of the organization and they will continually demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload..
