Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in Portland, Oregon. If you have a passion for furniture sales and thrive in a business-to-business (B2B) sales environment, we want to hear from you.

WHAT WE OFFER?...

Compensation plus Benefits/Perks:

• Starting Salary $50,000
• Commission :

- 5% of sales up to $1,000,000

- 6% of sales $1M-2M

- 7% $2M and above, no cap

• Mileage reimbursement at fed rates
• 2 weeks PTO 1 week sick/personal time
• All federal holidays paid (11 days)

Preferences:

• Prior experience in furniture sales is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in outside sales and business development, particularly in a B2B capacity.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of success in furniture sales or related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse clientele.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to sales.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Willingness to travel within the designated region as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Identify and establish contact with potential customers within the designated region.
• Schedule and conduct site visits with potential customers to showcase our furniture offerings and build rapport.
• Develop and nurture relationships with existing customers to foster repeat business and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Actively participate in industry trade shows to identify new sales leads and engage with existing customers, representing Madison Furniture with professionalism and expertise.
• Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics to identify new sales opportunities.
• Provide input on marketing strategies to target specific customer segments within our region (OR, WA, ID, NV, MT, AK).
• Generate accurate and timely sales reports to management, detailing sales activities, forecasts, and opportunities for growth.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3 days per week on the road
• 2 days per week in the office (Tigard, OR)
